Yu-kai Chou, Chief Executive Officer
Starting when he was 18, Yu-kai has been an entrepreneur and innovator while graduating UCLA in three years. With a degree in B.A. in International Economics, Yu-kai is the founder/cofounder of multiple small businesses and organizations including a professional networking service, an online retail business selling electronic products, the premiere business organization in UCLA, a failed importing company, and a small business consulting firm. He also chairs the Finance Committee of the California Student Sustainability Coalition. Yu-kai loves everything business and entrepreneurial, and spends over 90 hours a week learning and enjoying the life of an entrepreneur. Yu-kai created the FD Lifestyle, treating life like a hardcore gamer. Instead of idling in town as a NPC, Yu-kai prefers to go out and gain experience, assign skill points, build teams with other high level occupations, talk to relevant people, and conquer cool quests. Yu-kai's goal is to make everyone around him successful by installing them into the careers of their passion. Believing that doing what you are passionate for is the best way to increase quality of life, Yu-kai has a passion to bring the philosophy of FD to others.
Jason Wei, Chief Technology Officer
Jason has 7 years of high-tech startup experience in China(1996-2002) as founder and CTO. Still operating today, the startup had 30 employees and annual revenues of 3 Million RMB a year when he left. He is currently a Senior Engineer in one of the best known electronic brands, leading network, web service, and security teams. After getting his double major in Computer Science and Business Administration, he became the first employee Xerox R&D Center hired in China and developed the whole Xerox R&D division in that region. As of now, he holds multiple Microsoft certifications and an Oracle DBA certification. He has 22 U.S. Patent filings and is also a lecturer of three courses at The University of California at Irvine. Jason has a loyal following who are fans of his lectures, as he likes to spontaneously build things in class and debug them in front of everyone upon rare errors. Jason is a strong balance between technical skills and an entrepreneurial business sense.
Jun Loayza, Chief Marketing Officer
Jun Koji Loayza is an entrepreneur, consultant, writer, lover of animals, and a huge fan of Daft Punk. He has a B.A. in Economics with a specialization in Accounting and Philosophy at UCLA. Jun has worked at Navigant Consulting, founded a strategy consulting business, and founded the first Undergraduate Case Competition at UCLA. Jun wants to create a positive difference in this world and feels that Future Delivery is the company that has the potential to do it. Outside of his role as CMO, Jun Loves to listen to indie and electronic music, maintain physical fitness, watch a good game of UCLA basketball, and meet random people. Ping-hsiang Chen, Lead Designer
Ping-hsiang has been an accomplished designer for many years. With a background in Architectural Designing from Taiwan, Ping-hsiang has done numerous client cases including graphic designing for venture capital firms, real estate companies, restaurants and more. He has also designed websites for eccommerce sites, politic sites for the youth, as well as interior designs for restaurants and buildings. Ping-hsiang's keen skill with modern architecture will be a foundation in which FD World will be built on.
Albert Asatoorian, Board Advisor
Albert is a parter at the high tech law firm Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP specializing in acquisitions, financing and commercial transactions. He was also a senior attorney at the global law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Albert has represented firms such as News Corporation in the Myspace transaction, Intel Corporation, Bank of America, Starbucks, Compaq and Motorola. Albert received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1992 and his J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1995.
Eytan Elbaz, Board Advisor
Eytan is an early developer of Oingo Adsense (acquired by Google) and served as the head of Domain Channel at Google. At Oingo, Eytan conceived the ideas for applying the company's meaning based technology towards domain name selection and monetization, and towards contextual targeting. Eytan has also held technical positions at Advanced Micro Devices and Telos Corporation.
Avi Bar-Zeev, Board Advisor
Avi has fifteen years of 3D modeling experience in on-line, rides & games, and vis-sim domains. He is a co-founder of Google Earth (Earthviewer by Keyhole), developed technologies for Second Life, including the procedural 3D object rendering code. He also helped develop Disney’s Aladdin’s Magic Carpet VR Ride, one of the first real-time (60 fps) first-person immersive entertainment applications.
Jake Jacobs, Board of Advisor
Jonathan ("Jake") Jacobs is a senior partner at Rose, Snyder & Jacobs, a 30 person full service CPA and technology firm located in Encino dealing with middle market companies and high net worth individuals. He spent 20 years at KPMG Peat Marwick where he was partner-in-charge of the Los Angeles middle market practice and partner-in-charge of the first Big 5 office in the San Fernando Valley. Jake is a Board Advisor for the Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies of the UCLA Anderson School. Jake received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School at Northwestern.
